Strawberry cake

Today we will prepare delicious pie with strawberries!

Strawberry cake


The wheat flour — 1.5 cups

A half-teaspoon of salt

Baking powder — 1.5 teaspoon

Vanilla — one pinch

Soft unsalted butter — 6 tbsp

Sugar- 1 Cup

Zest of one medium size lemon

The juice of half a lemon

Egg — 1 large

Milk — polstakana

Fresh strawberry — 450 g


1. Podgotavlivaya the oven: preheated to 175 degrees. Form , where we will bake the cake, grease with butter and sprinkle with flour.

2. In a large bowl mix flour, salt and baking powder, vanilla dobavlaet. Put aside 2 tbsp sugar for sprinkling strawberries.

3. Whisk oil with sugar remaining, celroy and lemon juice to the blend air masses. Add the egg and milk, continue whisking until you get a homogeneous mass.

4. Pour gradually flour and knead not very thick dough. If it turned out dense, add one or two tablespoons of milk.

5. We shift the dough in the prepared pan, level it with a wooden spatula. Spread on top strawberries cut-side down. Have berries as possible to each other.

6. Sprinkle the strawberries with sugar (we stayed 2 tbsp)

7. Bake on the middle wire rack for 10 minutes. Then decrease the temperature in the oven to 160 degrees and continue baking for another 50 minutes.

8. Pie can be served warm or chilled with ice cream or whipped cream.
