Forikol — Norwegian dish



New recipe — the Norwegian national dish forikol.


500-600 grams of lamb ribs;

1 head (1.5 kg) fresh cabbage;

50 grams of black pepper in peas;

1 tbsp. butter;

1 tsp flour;

Pepper, salt.


1. Cut into slices the cabbage, put several slices on the bottom of the pan.

2. On top of cabbage put the lamb, sprinkle with salt and half portion of pepper on top put the remaining cabbage and pepper.

3. Sverhu sprinkle the flour, pour 300 ml of boiling water.

4. Cover with a lid and put on a small fire to stew an hour and a half. Do not forget to periodically stirring that didn’t burn on the bottom of the pan.

5. Add the butter for ten minutes until tender.

6. Despite the simplicity of recepty dish is very flavorful, juicy and delicious.
